2017 Clarence House Estate Tempranillo
Clarence House was built in 1830 on land which was originally the market garden for the City of Hobart. The present owner, David Kilpatrick, first planted vines on the North-East slopes of Clarence Plains in 1998.
The 2017 Clarence House Estate Tempranillo was produced by Anna Pooley and Justin Bubb at Pooley Wines. The Tempranillo grape ripened elegantly in 2017 giving the typical flavour and bouquet of this Spanish variety. The wine was aged in French Oak for 10 months and has the complexity associated with the Tempranillo in a good year. This wine will accompany most meats and can be drunk early or kept for up to ten years.
Available in a 12 bottle case at a special discounted price of $330.
